Camp Fun!Half Day Music Camps for Children and Teens with Special Needs
About the Camp
We are offering 3 camp opportunities this year: Spring Break, one week in June, and one in July.
What exactly is camp about? We are SO excited to offer this opportunity. Each day our campers will learn and participate in music based on a theme. Participants will also work together to make a variety of art projects that will be used in a special Friday final performance. (Think props and backdrops!)
When you click the register button, you will be guided to our full intake paperwork. Because we will be spending a significant amount of time with your child, we want to know as much as possible! You will also be required to provide a credit card number to reserve your spot. Availability is limited so get signed up today.
*If you are a current Sound Starts family, you have already submitted this paperwork and do not need to do so again. Please send an email to email@example.com or let your music therapist know you’d like to register and we will add you to the list. Easy, peasy!

No Musical Talent Required
Your child doesn’t know music? Not a concern! Your child(ren) do not need musical talent to participate in our camp. Music promotes social skills, fosters interaction, develops language (speaking and/or singing), and engages our motor skills. Our camp is designed for your child to have a great time with other children while working on many “non-musical” skills.
Where will the camp be held?
At our center. Our address is 8380 Warren Parkway #701 Frisco, TX 75034. The Friday wrap up performance is also at our center.
Who will be running the group?
All camp activities will be led by members of the Sound Starts team who have experience in working with children with special needs. Read more about our team here. Additional music therapy students may also volunteer to ensure a maximum level of support.
