Fall Session Week 2

Hello Everyone! Below you will find the songs that we sang and played during week 2.  Again, if there is a specific skill that you would like to see addressed, you can email me – mary@soundstartsmusic.com – at anytime.

This is How We Rock

This one is a fun movement song and an excellent way to practice start/stop!

I Feel Silly

These are the same emotion pictures from last week – very useful for this song too. I Feel Silly

Book: Grandma’s Feather Bed

This tune was made famous by John Denver and a perfect fit for a children’s book. Also available at the public library. If you read music, it is printed in the back or you can watch the YouTube video below. Singable books are the perfect way to practice comprehension questions for all levels!

Movin’ In the Circle (Stretchy Band)

One of those stretchy exercise bands are a perfect substitute for the actual stretchy band!

1-2-3 Tap With Me

Anything you have could be used as drum sticks – 2 pencils, 2 kitchen utensils, you name it. Or maybe you have some toy drum sticks?.

Goodbye

This is how we said goodbye as our session concluded.

Can’t wait to see you in week 3!
